Free tours in Berlin: recommendations from a local guide
In our One Question series on Instagram, Isabelle Bedê from Späti Stories, a great newsletter, gave this excellent itinerary on what to do in Berlin if you only had one day. She recommended starting with a free walking tour.
Someone in the comments asked which free tours to try, so we paged Jonny Whitlam, one of the most famous Berlin tour guides, and he was so kind to give us a list. Here is the complete reel:
Jonny split his recommendations into two categories: independent guides who run sporadic group tours, but can also be booked directly, and more traditional tour companies with regular schedules.
So far, I’ve been on tours with Jonny, Tina and Insider Tour Berlin, and they are all great.
